Not a great start to the holiday travelling with a baby since 6am ! We were told staff were on strike. We arrived at 1pm and couldn't check in until 6.30pm even then we had to argue to be checked in. It is a little awkward to get to by train although it cost half the price a taxi would have from the airport and so if you are on a budget the train works out better.ĥ.35km from Office de Tourisme de Marne et Gondoire Please stay away from this hotel especially if visiting with children for disneyland. Overall to sum up, I would recommend this hotel and id give it top marks for its location in relation to Disneyland Paris. This was much handier and it left us close to our Terminal. Going home rather than taking a load of trains we took a short trip from Bussy st Georges train two stops to the Disneyland Paris stop and we took the Magic Shuttle bus from there directly to Charles de Gaulle airport. There was not a great range of Fruit available but this something I notice in most hotels and so I went to the local hypermarche (within walking distance) for Fruit which was inexpensive. Options available included Croissants, pastries, toast, etc. This shopping centre was very easy to get to and had nice shops such as Fnac which stocks books and dvds and music and nice fashion stores & places to get a sandwich such as Brioche Dore etc Breakfast in the hotel is a buffet affair. The receptionist was very helpful and advised me that I could take the train one stop to the Val d'leurope shopping centre and that they sell them there. I forgot that in France it is a two pin plug socket and so I needed to buy an adapter for my phone charger. This was a good time to get there as the doors were opening at 10am. Breakfast starts at 6am and we got up early before it got too busy and took the 9.30am train from Bussy st georges two stops to the final stop which is Disneyland Paris. This hotel although far away from the main airport is a good location for Disneyland Paris. The hotel itself does not do dinners or lunch however there was a hotel beside this hotel that does dinners or for a budget option there is a Mc Donalds within walking distance from the hotel also. I did not see any taxis around that we could take.
We took two trains from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Bussy St Georges train station and it was quite dark by the time we arrived and so we had a 10 minute walk in the dark to find the hotel.
The hotel was near to the train station- about a 10 minute walk. There was no hairdryer or tea or coffee making facilities within the hotel room. It had a television with a variety of French channels. The room was very compact but clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and informative. 5.31km from Office de Tourisme de Marne et Gondoire Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in October.
